At the stage manager’s console, backstage.

Stage managers have, in my opinion, one of the most stressful jobs in the theater. They are basically the theatrical version of air traffic controllers. They might have time for a question or a joke while the show is running, but then again they might not. You don’t want to bother them at the wrong time unless it’s really, really important.

    >Love this sign. I swear, our stage managers are the best people in the world. The amount of patience they exhibit is amazing, and if they are yelling at you? Its because you are about to be killed by some piece of scenery.

    >Absolutely right!
