>Weekend Mountain Blogging: Rumer Alm

An afternoon outing up to Rumer Alm last Friday.
The alm’s restaurant terrace, the reason some people hike at all. You take a seat in the sunshine, admire the view, and enjoy a Radler and some Knödelsuppe.
Two of the dark spots on the hill are Gämsen (chamois). I don’t imagine they are seen very often this far down the mountain. Maybe they are getting hungry.

    >I checked a German to English translation site — a cyclist and some dumpling soup? That can't be right! What is "radler"?-Carlisle

    >Beer and sprite together, you can get it mixed on tap or pre-bottled. Refreshing after physical exertion!

    >Thanks for the translation! Margaritas made with beer are pretty good – I'll have to give the radler a try. -Carlisle
