>Fun With Sitemeter

>I have opened the Sitemeter link (that little green-and-white square near the top of the sidebar) so readers can see the stats. Just because. If you’re curious, I get on average about 30 visits (and 40 page views) a day, mostly from people who were searching for something via google, and around 200 per week.
Recurring search topics: FKK (nudist) areas in Innsbruck (all from Italy, oddly), “(stereo)typical Austrian”, racism in the 1920s, Gerhard Aba, photos of the Hungerburgbahn. All but the first are topics I have written about. The FKK people come here because of one post about manufactured furor over a nude crucifix on the Stadtsbrücke.
All in all I am impressed. Other bloggers tell me they get hits from people looking for weird porn.

    >Southern Beale used to post some of the phrases that landed people at her blog, they were pretty amusing.

    >Sara, I have never been to those resort chalets but I imagine there are a number of them in the tonier ski regions (Kitz, St. Anton…)Also mentioned were the genuine alpine huts that one has to hike to, these interest me a lot more, actually, than 5-star hotel service.

    >well…once I posted about my kids…and the heading was "My Sweet School Girls" about their first day of school. Then I got google searches on "Sweet school girls," just about had a heart attack and obviously…changed the title of the post! I am not here looking for porn. Just cuz I like ya!Beck
